Dental Emergencies

Dental emergencies happen, and here at Dentistry on George, we’ll endeavour to see you and ease the pain as soon as possible. If you’re experiencing a dental emergency right now, our Brisbane emergency dentist is here to help. Call our office and we’ll do our best to see you the same day.

For all emergency appointments, we welcome you to start with an emergency dental consultation and examination, which includes:

Taking a thorough medical history to ensure we are treating you safely

Taking a history of your pain or gathering information about the problem area

Assessing the problem area – this may include checking the tooth/teeth and gums in question

Further investigations/tests, which may include digital x-rays

Once we have gathered all this information we can come up with a plan and will talk you through the options and all the associated risks/benefits and costs involved.

Depending on what the treatment is, we will either be able to carry it out at the same appointment, or you may need to come back for follow-up appointments. We will always do our best to get you  out of pain on the day.
