Dr Mishari Al-Dhafeeri
Owner / Principal Dentist

Dr. Mishari has been practicing dentistry since 2008, graduating from the University of Glasgow. His passion for dentistry drives him to constantly refine his skills, completing his membership exams to the Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow in 2010, a Certificate in Dental Implantology from the Cambridge Academy of Implantology in 2014, and a Masters in Prosthodontics with merit from the prestigious King’s College London in 2018. He is currently studying for a Graduate Diploma of Dental Implantology from Charles Sturt University.
Dr. Mishari focuses on the replacement of missing teeth, oral rehabilitation, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants. His philosophy is to restore function and aesthetics by creating natural, beautiful smiles backed, by the latest research. He treats each patient like family, ensuring they’re completely satisfied with their treatment before leaving.

Originally from the UK, Dr. Mishari moved to Brisbane in 2015 with his wife, Kathryn, and is thrilled by the city’s active lifestyle and wildlife. He enjoys boxing, traveling and exploring new places in his spare time.
Dr Kathryn Al-Dhafeeri
Owner / Dentist and Dental Sedationist

Dr. Kathryn qualified as a dentist from the University of Glasgow in 2008 and gained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons from Edinburgh in 2010. She has worked in both hospital and general practice but truly values the long-term relationships she builds in general practice. Kathryn is also an endorsed dental sedationist, having completed the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Conscious Sedation and Pain Control) at the University of Sydney.
Dr Kathryn focuses on working with patient with dental anxiety as with over 16 years of experience working with anxious patients, she ensures every patient feels comfortable and relaxed throughout their treatment. She is also passionate about dental sleep medicine, helping patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Kathryn is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a general dentist and an endorsed dental sedationist. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology and the Australasian Sleep Association. She also does work with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, providing dental services to remote areas in NSW.
Originally from Scotland, Kathryn moved to Australia with her husband Mishari in 2015. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys reading, running and spending time outdoors. She loves her garden but has given up trying to grow vegetables in the Queensland climate!
Silvia
Clinical Office Manager
Silvia brings a wealth of dental assisting knowledge and experience to Dentistry On George. She has worked in the industry for over 16 years and has been with us for around 12 years.
She loves her job in dentistry as she has a passion for health. Silvia worked in the food and nutrition industry back in Chile before she moved to Australia many years ago. She loves meeting different people every day and finds it rewarding that she can contribute to improving the quality of our patient’s lives. Her passion for health care and helping people shines through in her gentle and caring ways, and she always makes sure her patients are comfortable and well cared for.

Silvia is our Clinical Office Manager, which means that not only does she assist our dentists, but she trains new dental assistants and oversees all the back of house operations, from infection control to stock control. Silvia is an avid lover of the environment and keeps us right with our recycling and waste reduction strategies. She also provides training on keeping our plants alive to those who are not so green fingered!
When she’s not working, she loves bushwalking, trekking, going to the gym and meeting up with friends for coffee. She is also a keen knitter!
Caz
Receptionist
You’ll find Caz working on the front desk. Caz is a master organiser – keeping our admin processes running smoothly and helping our patients coordinate appointments, either with us or our specialist colleagues. Caz is also a whizz at processing health funds and organising patient’s treatment plans and quotes.
Caz’s empathetic and kind nature puts our patients at ease, especially if they are nervous about dental procedures.
Sara
Dental Assistant and Receptionist
Sara works in two roles at the practice – as a dental assistant and as a receptionist. Sara’s background is in psychology – she completed her Bachelor of Science (Hons) majoring in Psychology at the University of Queensland. Her interest is in clinical psychology. Sara’s interest in psychology and empathetic nature makes her a great asset to our team. She’s great at organising appointments and putting patients at ease before their appointment. In addition, she’s great support to our dentists and patients during their treatments during her role as dental assistant.

Sara is very much into self care. She enjoys her morning cup of tea and a moment of calm and mindfulness before she starts her day.
The other thing that Sara enjoys is cleaning! If she has any gaps between appointments, you can always find her cleaning something!
